Conversion and Its Effects!

Since I was born in a modern Hindu family, I was always taught how we all are equal and how every religion was a path which we can follow to reach the final destination. This was so imbibed into me that if for any reason when anyone said something ill about any God or Godly figure, i argued with them with all the vigour. I came to respect all the religions and used to ask my Muslim friends to bring sweets for Eid and Christian friends cake for Christmas. And used to invite them whenever any Hindu festival was being celebrated.

It used to feel good celebrating all the festivals as all lead to One God but were different path. With the same mindset I came into the world and started doing work for different people. During my childhood religion was not the most discussed topic, but it was not the case in my work. During the first few years of my work, my idea of different path leading to One God got changed. Because this different path theory is followed by only Hindus and no one else. I came across many people from all over the world, all of them wanted me to "CONVERT". Yes, I said it.

I was told by many people how when the end will come only "Christians" will go to heaven and all others will be left on earth to die in eternal hell fire. This is something which can be found in Bible and is being used by people to convert by imbibing fear. The tagline for the conversion is "Convert or be damned to live in hell till eternity". This alone is enough to send chills into the spine of people, who are gullible, who in turn become so scared that they do not question anything and start following with a blindfold.

This same tagline was used on me by many people, who in the course of my work, yes "Professional" work wanted me to convert and practice their religion. Many people gave me long list of arguments which I will discuss in the next articles. But the core and first message is to Accept or live in Hell. This was something which was completely opposite of what I had been taught during my childhood. I was told that all religions are just paths to reach to One God. All have different paths but the goal is same. But now the same idea was being challenged by many "Convert" specialists as they preached only true believer will go to heaven and rest will burn in hell for eternity. If you think i am exaggerating, please read this "'It is a vision that will be fulfilled, for Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, "The gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a witness to every nation and then the end will come.'" In this gospel it is clearly mentioned that for the end to come entire world needs to be converted. Anyone who is not converted will be left to burn in eternal fire.

The said things shook my entire belief and what I was taught during my childhood. I used to love that idea of "Different Path, Same God" but now in real world I am being told otherwise. This brought distrust in me. Whom to believe and what to do.

When questions arise, some people start digging and some do not. Some people start questioning more and some become subservient. Many people get scared and never ever question anything. This leads to more distrust, which in turn leads to more questions.

Those who become subservient are most gullible and get converted and wait for the end to live in heaven whilst those who do not believe will burn in hell. Those who question get no answers which in turn leads to more questions and in turn become "Atheists".

I started to question my own belief about "Secularism" about God being One. What I discovered was not pleasant and was not at all what I expected. God is One is preached only by Hindus no one else. PERIOD. Everyone else wants you get converted and follow their path. This shattered my idea of Secularism and brought out a huge list of historical events in front which are kept hidden from the masses.

The first effect of Conversion is the idea of  "Secularism" is dying and dying very fast. Wake up or it will be too late.
